What You Get From Northside Rentals
What You Need to Hire from Northside Rentals
- You must be at least 21 years of age and less than 75 years of age.
- Have held a current unrestricted Australian drivers licence for 1 year.
- Credit card or Debit Visa/Mastercard for the vehicle bond (which is refunded on safe return of the vehicle)
Why Choose Northside Rentals
We know that running your own business can be time consuming. So, we’ve kept our Rideshare vehicle rental terms and conditions straightforward, transparent and flexible. You won’t find any small print here!
Minimum Hire Period: We have a minimum 4 week hire period (excludes uber short term). You can swap your chosen vehicle, upgrade, downsize or simply return the car at the end of each rental term.
Damage Cover: The price you pay includes Standard Damage Cover for total peace of mind (as per Rental Agreement). In the event of an accident with another vehicle, if you are at fault you would be up for the first $5000.00 or part thereof. However, if you are not at fault, and the party who is pays all the costs of repairs your liability is NIL.
Security Bond: A (security) Bond is required for the vehicle to the value of $500.00 ($1500.00 for Rideshare Select) by credit card. The funds for the bond are withdrawn from your credit card account and are refunded to the same account upon your safe return of the vehicle.
Extra Driver: We know that sometimes, you don’t want to be the one doing all of the driving. We include an extra driver as standard, so your family member, partner or colleague can share driving duties. The extra driver is not insured to drive the vehicle as a Rideshare driver, but they can drive it for leisure purposes and commuting.
Early Returns: If you need to return the car to us earlier than your rental period, we are unable to offer a refund or credit for the unused portion of your lease.
Returning the vehicle: Returning the vehicle at the end of your rental period is easy. Just let us know you’ll be dropping it off, 14 days before your preferred return date and time. You can also choose to rent with option to hand back or own!

Whether your vehicle is in the work shop or you just want to drive on the Rideshare Apps on the weekends, with short term rentals you have more flexibility to hire a vehicle for 3 or more days.
Minimum Hire Period: The minimum hire period is 3 days.
Damage Cover: The price includes Standard Damage Cover as per Rental Agreement.
