What do your prices include?
All of our standard daily rates include GST (Goods and Services Tax), standard Damage Cover as per Rental Agreement, vehicle registration, 24 hour roadside assistance and 100 kilometres free per day (averaged out over the total hire duration).
All prices listed on our website are in Australian Dollars.
What about extra kilometers?
The fee for extra kilometres are:
Small and Medium vehicles: $0.28 per km.
4WDs, Mini-Bus, Large vehicles: $0.33 per km
Sports/Luxury/Executive: $0.44 per km.
Commercial vehicles: $0.33 per km.
We do offer unlimited kilometre packages, however the price depends on the farthest destination you wish to travel to and the intended use of the vehicle. Kilometre options are nominated at the beginning of the hire and cannot be changed when you return the vehicle. You can change the package during the hire by ending the original Rental Agreement (and paying any kilometre fees if applicable) and commencing another, no days can be rolled over as these will be considered as 2 separate hires. How do you calculate hire periods
Our hires work on a 24 hour clock, so the time that you collect the vehicle, is the same time the vehicle will be due in. We offer a one hour grace period (30 mins during peak seasons, i.e. WA Holiday periods) however if vehicles are returned later than the grace period, an extra day’s rental will apply. We do not offer half day rentals.
Can I extend my hire?
Hire extensions are not a problem but you must notify us prior to the expiration of your initial hire period and we must approve of the extension. Extension is granted once payment for the extension period is made. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee extensions (especially during peak seasons) however we try our very best to accommodate our Hirers!!
Can I return Early?
100% Cancellation Fee applies for early return of vehicle. This includes if the vehicle is damaged whilst in the possession of the Hirer (regardless of fault). If you return the vehicle prior to any contracted duration of the rental period, as specified on the Rental Agreement, you shall pay the total duration of the contracted rental period.
If you advise us that you wish to extend your hire, and we approve, we cannot refund or credit this extension if you change your mind after approval is granted and rental fees are paid.
Do you offer long term rentals?
Yes we do! Please contact us to discuss your needs and we can tailor an affordable package for you. We do offer discounts for longer rentals.
What is peak season?
Peak Season occurs when we experience a high demand anytime of the year. This includes Western Australian holiday periods, i.e. school holidays, public holidays, Christmas etc – as determined by the WA Department of Commerce (refer their website containing official holiday dates here (opens in a new window). During Peak Season a 20% surcharge applies to our standard daily rates.
What is COVID-19 Surcharge?
A 30% surcharge applies on the daily rental fee due to high demand for vehicles and shortage of vehicles from manufactures and the higher prices to purchasing vehicles.
Do you require a security deposit/Bond?
A (security) Bond is required for the vehicle as follows by credit or debit card.
- $500 for all standard vehicles
- $1000 for Infiniti Q50 & Q70, and Toyota Corolla Hybrid
- $1000 for Nissan Patrol and Mitsubishi Pajero
- $1500 for all luxury vehicles, except for Infiniti Q50 and Q70
Note: The bond for standard vehicles may be increased up to $1000. Conditions apply and to the Companies discretion.
For hires 3 days and under, a Pre-Authorisation is processed. This means that you must have the funds available in your account but they are not withdrawn. The funds are frozen in your account by your financial institution. This “freeze” lasts for 4 working days from the processing time and automatically expires after this period. If you extend your hire period, if you do not return the vehicle in the same condition as hired or if there are outstanding hire charges at the end of your hire, the Pre-Authorisation will be banked.
For hires 4 days and over, the security bond is actually banked and you will be refunded (into the same account) upon your safe return of our hire vehicle. All refunds are processed in AUD and take 3 to 5 working days (5 to 10 working days during peak period) to clear into your account (this time may vary depending on your financial institution).
Upon special application, we can accept a cash, debit card (cheque or savings option), bank transfer (funds must clear our account prior to you collecting the vehicle) bond. However for standard vehicles, the bond will increase to $1,000.00. Please contact us to discuss your options if you do not have a Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club or American Express card. We do not accept a cash bond for luxury vehicles.
Do I have to re-fuel before returning the hire vehicle?
Yes, all hire vehicles must be returned with the same amount of fuel as hired to you with (usually Full). A re-fuelling service component of $20.00 will apply on top of the price of fuel if we have to re-fuel the vehicle.
Do I have to clean the vehicle before I return?
Please return the vehicle to us in the same condition as when you collected it. Although we do clean vehicles in between hires regardless of their state, we appreciate our hirers to respect our vehicles by return clean and un-damaged. A minimum cleaning fee of $20.00 will apply for untidy vehicles.
Can I smoke in the vehicle?
Absolutely NOT! Our vehicles are all smoke free! Please respect our patrons with allergies and sensitivities, as well as our vehicles. A minimum fee of $100.00 will apply to clean vehicles which smell of cigarette smoke and/or have ash and/or burn holes (damage costs will also apply).
Can I bring my pets in the hire vehicle?
Sorry, again we need to respect our patrons with allergies and sensitivities, so animals are NOT allowed in our hire vehicles.
What happens if I get a speeding fine, parking tickets etc?
If you receive a traffic infringement and do not pay the issuing body before returning the car, or by the stipulated due date, the issuer will post to us a reminder notice. We are then legally obligated to supply the issuer with the main Hirer’s details as nominated on the Rental Agreement (i.e. the person in charge of the vehicle at the time of the alleged offence). The issuer will then re-direct the fine to the main Hirer for payment (payment instructions are included on the notice).
We do not pay infringements on behalf of Hirers and you do not pay us the amount of infringements.
We will charge a processing fee of $75.00 per traffic infringement that a Hirer incurs. Please note that this may be a number of days or weeks after the vehicle has been returned (depending on the time it takes for the infringement issuer to post notice to us)
