What to do if you have an accident?

• Do NOT sign or authorise towing unless it is one of our Authorised towing companies or their contractors. If you authorise towing by a company other than listed below or their contractor you will be liable to pay for the towing charges and any associated fees in full.
• Move Vehicle out of traffic onto verge, if possible
• Obtain other driver’s name, address, phone, email.
• Obtain owner’s name, address, phone, email.
• Obtain the other vehicle’s registration no, make, model, colour, insurance policy.
• Obtain all witnesses’ name, address, phone.
• Record the date, time, location (including nearest cross street).
• Do not admit or apportion blame.
• If the vehicle is not drivable phone respective towing company from below.

List of Authorised Towing Companies

Photograph;

• The accident scene (if safe to do so).
• The other vehicle’s number plate and damages.
• The other Driver’s Licence.

Telephone 131 444 for the police to addend if;

• There are injuries.
• The other party refuses to exchange details
• You suspect that the other driver has consumed drugs or alcohol.
• Obtain the attending Police Officer’s name, station, phone.

Within 24 hours;

• Complete an online police report.
• Come into our office to complete all damage paperwork.

Failure to complete the above may leave you liable for the cost of all damages
